This round silver box with decorative hinged faux tortoiseshell lid and burgundy velvet interior stands on 3 decorative feet. The box is Hallmarked Birmingham 1945 with Maker's Mark for Mappin and Webb.
Mappin & Webb are a true British treasure that began in 1775 with a mission to produce crafted silverware. The company has received Royal Warrants and Commissions from Monarch around the World.
In excellent condition this box has a diameter of 7 cms and stands 4 cms in height.
