Details
A set of 4 (Brandy, Port, Sherry and Gin) Hand Painted Porcelain Decanter Labels made by Crown, Staffordshire for Thomas Goode & Company London Limited and depicting a floral and ribbon design with a gilt border.
Each label is on a chain and in extremely good condition measuring 1.5 inches x 1 inch. The 4 Decanter Labels are in their original lined box bearing the name T. Goode and Co London Ltd on the inside of the lid. Would make an excellent gift.
Crown Staffordshire Porcelain was set up in 1889 having been trading as T A & S Green from 1876. In 1903 it became a limited company. Wedgwood purchased the company in 1973 and continued production under the Crown Staffordshire name until 1985. Despite their closure, Crown Staffordshire has maintained its reputation around the World.
Thomas Goode and Co was established in 1827, recognised as the home of the World’s finest china, silverware and glass. In the mid 19th Century the business was transformed into London’s Tableware Emporium.
